SecCheck is a small New Zealand business, and we keep privacy simple. We follow the Privacy Act 2020. Here is exactly what we do with your information, in plain English.

What we collect

We only collect what you give us directly: your name, email address, and business name. This happens when you fill in our contact form or use our free Quick Check tool. We do not collect anything else, and we do not ask for sensitive personal details.

How we use it

We use your details for one thing: to respond to your enquiry and deliver the service you asked for. That is it. We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing you never asked for.

Who we share it with

No one. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties. The only exception is where the law requires it, such as a valid request from a New Zealand authority.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. We are not watching what you click or building a profile of you.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for 12 months from our last contact with you, then we delete it. If you become a client, we hold what we need for the duration of our work and that same 12-month window afterwards.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Just email hello@seccheck.co.nz and we will sort it out, usually within a few days.
